Welcome! to the Puma Lakeland Trails running and walking series. All inclusive events for all ages and abilities.

The trail courses are well marked and marshalled journeys along footpaths and bridleways through some of the most scenic countryside in the UK.

There is a non competitive Puma Challenge setting off first for faster walkers and slower runners; this is closely followed by the Nordic Walking Challenge, then a competitive Puma Trail Race sets off an hour or more afterwards, all three events following the same course.

Children's Fun Trails take place when most of the competitors are back from the Trail. These short fun runs are all about having a go. All the finishers are rewarded with a specially engraved medal, and there are winner's prizes and spot prizes too.

An exciting and fun atmosphere is guaranteed for spectators and competitors alike. Live music with a race commentary and other entertainments all make for a great day out for all the family.

"Just wanted to take a moment to say thank you for an incredible experience on Sunday. Neither of us had run a trail run before and this was great. We are road runners that have now been hooked by the more demanding routes of these trail races/challenges. As a slower runner (Mary) I truly appreciate the staggered start times with a division for my ability. I would not have been able to participate in the faster race and thus miss out on a fantastic opportunity. Thank you again for taking into consideration all abilities.
