The second event in the new 2011 Lakeland Trails Autumn Series, and arguably the most scenic of them all. Skirting the Old Man of Coniston massif, the trail descends through ancient oak woodland and finishes alonside Coniston Water itself. A less competitive Challenge event sets off one hour before the more serious Trail Race, both following the same well marked and marshalled route. All finishers will receive a Lakeland Trails memento. The event is strictly limited to 1000 entrants and we are expecting the event to sell out, so please enter soon to guarantee your place.
